The month of April is dedicated to autism in most of the countries across the world. As we all know, 2nd April is the actual world autism day. As part of the autism awareness month activities the Eleazar Foundation selected 5 teachers from 5 autism centers to honour them for their great services . Lady Yaa Achiaa Boadi Nyamekye who is the founder of the foundation felt that it was a need to celebrate these unsung heroes and also appreciate the roles they play to Groom these special kids. Indeed it was an awesome time with these teachers as they shared their journey with us, how they started, how their journey has been soo far and that of their worst and best experiences .
“Sometimes I get to work very stressed out from the house ,but these special kids make me forget all these worries .They can really light up your world.”

“I wanted to give up the first day I went to an autism school. I actually wanted to change my course from special education to English. After awhile I learnt that it was more than a job but a calling.”
